Getting ready for the new year.
This online yoga class offers a flow that is a perfect combo of active movement (yang) to create heat & maybe burn some extra calories, & more passive (yin) to relax & become more centered. A short meditative practice to set intentions for the coming year will close the class.
Optional props to use might include: a yoga strap (or a dressing gown belt), a foam/cork block (or two, couple books might work as well), a bolster (you can make one by tightly wrapping a pillow or two in a towel), and a warm blanket if the space where you practice is a bit chilly or you get cold easily.
